As many of you know, my work is primarily in acrylics.  In the past I’ve dabbled in pastels, pen and ink, and oils.  Recently, I’ve finally tried my hand at watercolor.  I’m definitely still getting the hang of it.  But I’m having fun!  Here’s a few examples of what I’ve done so far:

I call this one “Red Umbrella”.  As it’s my first completed watercolor, I’m going to hang on to it.  But these others just might make it to my Etsy shop soon:

This one has a retro, 1920s feel to it.  I call it, “Feather, Cloche, and Pearls”.  And this last one, tongue-in-check, is called, “Independence Day”:

In case it’s hard to tell what’s going on here, here’s a close-up of my ladies:

You’ve heard, “Suns Out, Buns Out”, right?  Well, this one’s just a LITTLE different…

I hope you all are having a wonderful summer so far!

XOXO, Heather
